How to Give

To build a new Centerhouse at Firwood, we will rely on God to raise up individuals, families and businesses to generously support this project. The Firs is prepared to receive gifts of many types:

  • A gift of cash
  • A matching gift through payroll deduction with your employer
  • A gift of securities
  • A gift of real estate
  • A gift of tangible personal property
  • A payroll deduction gift
  • A gift by direct payment from your personal bank or credit card account
  • A tax-free direct transfer from an otherwise taxable IRA or other retirement account allowable for 2009 for those at least 70 1/2 years of age
  • Estate gifts
  • A pledge of goods or services

Any funds raised above those needed will be used for Firwood endowment/campership funds.

Your gift is tax deductable as specified by IRS regulations. The Firs is a tax-exempt 501.c.3 organization and member in good standing of the Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability. We fully adhere to their seven standards of responsible stewardship which focus on board governance, financial transparency, integrity in fundraising, and proper use of charity.
